Artwork from Gaza – Fayza Yousef

Fayza, a Palestinian mother of three twins, sent us her artwork during the Israeli military assault on Gaza in May 2021.
Fayza describes her artwork:
“This is the real face of the Palestinian mother: a mighty mother with a strong heart, spirit and soul. She protects her children from fear of the brutal occupation and epitomises a mother’s selflessness and sacrifice, her determination to protect the lives of her children and to eliminate any risks around them.”
